David Richard Beaver
David Richard Beaver, 86, died in his Cameron Park home on Aug 28.
Mr. Beaver was born on San Francisco on July 31, 1913 and has resided in Cameron Park for 20 years.
He loved his family, golf, exercise, sports, cribbage, teaching and coaching and astonished his fellow Realtors with his enthusiasm and perseverance. He was a member of the Cameron Park Country Club, the El Dorado Board of Realtors and the American Swim Coaches Hall of Fame. A native Californian, Mr. Beaver graduated from Santa Cruz High in 1931 and from Fresno State in 1937, as well a establishing a renowned swimming and physical education program for elementary and middle schools in San Leandro.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Margaret Boyer Beaver; sons Dick Beaver and Ken Beaver; daughters Peggy Tapping and Nancy Webster, 14 grandchildren and four great -grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p m , Saturday at Foothills Methodist Church in Rescue. Private interment will be at the plot in Felton.
Arrangements were made by Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Sacramento.
