I am trying to find the rest of a trial notice in the Del Norte Triplicate. The story was on a murder trial in 1978. Eugene M. James was murdered on January 8, 1978 in Crescent City. The person charged was his wife Anne Mary (Joyce) Jefferson. I am looking for the sentencing. I was not able to locate in on film. If some one could do a search for me I would greatly appreciate it. Also she pled no guilt and not guilty by reason of insanity. The judge that started her trial was a Judge W. W. Speer and she had a court appointed attorney John Ruzzo. That is the last bit I have from the paper. That was on January 10, 1978. I would appreciate any help. Thank you. Also she stated that her true name was Anna James.
