I am wanting to learn more about the Benjamin P. and Marie Doyle Morgan Family who settled in Contra Costa County. Obituaries would be helpful since I live in North Carolina and am unable to travel there anytime soon. I am also looking for descendants. I am a distant cousin and can shed some light on the Morgan side. Actually, there is some historical significance.
Benjamin's father, prior to settling in Missouri, was born in South Carolina. The family moved to Burke County, NC shortly after 1850. Benjamin's uncle, Andrew Morgan (1839-1921), was my ggg-grandfather.
From census records, Benjamin and Marie had several children: Mary, Benjamin T., Vivian, Frank, Mayberd, John, Jess, Lola, Albert, Dorothy, and William. I understand Mayberd married a Gregorie and Vivian married a Mayer.
