I'm looking for information about a family called Wennerblad in the San Francisco area.

The mother in the family, Axelina Emanuela Löf (the family name Löf often translated to Leaf) was born on Mar 23, 1884, in Asker, county of Örebro, Sweden. She was called Ella in Sweden and Ellen in the Census of 1930. I believe she left on Apr 8, 1904, on a ship from Göteborg/Gothenburg to the US. Her final destination was Chicago. Maybe she went to live with her uncle, Johan Löf (called John Lof according to the Census 1910), but she didn't stay long. In 1906 she was already in San Francisco, where she met her future husband Einar around the time of the big earth quake.

According to the Swedish database Emigranten Einar G Wennerblad was 16 years old when he left Motala, county of Östergötland in Sweden. He left on Aug 13, 1902, from Göteborg/Gothenburg to the US. His final destination was New York. I don't know anything about his stay in New York. As I've already mentioned he later went to the San Francisco area.

Einar had his own business constructing cash registers. Ellen and Einar had a daughter Ethel, born 1908 in California, and a son "Buster", whose real name probably was Carl, born in California 1913. "Buster" was a pilot during WW2 (or maybe Korea)according the stories heard in my family. He survived the war, but some years later he was killed in a civil plane accident.

In the census of 1910 they lived in the county of Contra Costa. I can't find them ten years later, but in 1930 in the city of San Francisco. Is there anyone who knows anything about this family ? Are there any living descendents today ?
