My g/grandfather was John Clark b.1849 Bullitt County, Ky. s/o David (Davis) Clark b.bet. 1800-120 Ky.
John Clark's brother was named Richard Johnson Clark b. 1840 Bullitt County, Ky. married Martha "Mattie" Woodward b. ?? Indiana, and he moved to Colusa County, Ca.
John Clark married ??unknown.... they had my grandfather:
James Pope Clark b. 1871 Bullitt County, Ky. he married Mary E. Suggs b. 1871 Ca. daughter of:
James C. Suggs and Mary E. Ives.
James Pope/Polk Clark and Mary Suggs lived in Napa County, and Sacramento, Ca. where they raised thier children:
James Leo Clark
Jesse Vernon Clark
Mary Velma Clark
Doris Irene clark
Sarah Pearl Clark
