Check it out...use our edit/find button to locate the Stanley entry. Looks like Elmer was Native American and his number is listed also. Not knowing Elmer changed his name to Stanley, they have his wife as Dorothy Stanley. But sure looks like your couple..Notice this Elmer Contreras is also born 1922 like your Elmer Stanley.

I was unable to find Dorothy Stanley on the California Death Index nor could I find her on the 1930 census. If you have her death record, did it list her SS number??? If so you can send for a copy of her original Social Security application. This can offer some wonderful details...
