Yes. I hope so. We walked the San Andreas cemetery last year and couldn't find them, but they have a lot of old mortuary markers and a lot of them are damaged or look like they're missing.
I just started calling cemeteries in Oakland and found out that Garfield was sent to an address in Santa Clara. From what Google Earth shows, it is a tiny Victorian house - apparently where his mother was living. So, I'm assuming he was scattered or kept on the mantle and maybe scattered later. I think he traveled more after he passed than some people do when they're living! Thanks again, I'll keep my fingers crossed. Judy
