I did find some of the family members in the death records so am posting that info. Also you can email the county archives at calaverasarchives@att.net and they will do research for you. The charge is $10 an hour.
The Calaveras County Museum has 2 books recently put together by Lloyd "Donnie" Ames whose family are pioneers of that area. He has put together books of newspaper clippings pertaining to West Point/Glencoe/ Railroad Flat etc. and you would probably find those books of great interest. The museum's phone is 209 754-4658.
