Your should look in the book The Shenandoah Valley Area of Amador County, California 1854-1904 by Elsie E. Dixon. It profiles King Lott, John Sharp, Elnathn S. Hall, Jonathan Salle, and James Wheeler and a John Sharp Wheeler. If you can't find the book or are impatient I have a copy and will be willing to look up info for you.
