Amador County formed 1854 from Calveras County

A 1852 census of Calaveras County lists Mathew Ralle, wife Mary, and several children - Mary, John, Margaret, Mathew, and Agnes- as residents.

I now discover that Amador Co. was formed from Calaveras Co., in 1854, so it is likely that the Ralle/Rawle family was in what is now Amador Co. as early as 1852.

If anyone has any further info or suggestions on follow-up, I'd appreciate knowing. Thanks.
