Samuel Nesbitt

Services for Samuel P. Nesbitt, 61, who died yesterday in an Oakland hospital, will be held in Hayward Thursday.

A native of Nevina, Okla., and resident of Hayward for 33 years, Mr. Nesbitt was employed as a linotype machinist by the Oakland Tribune. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose, Oakland Lodge 324, and of Typographical Union 36, Oakland. His home was at 619 Marin Ave., Hayward.

Husband of Vida M. Nesbitt, he was the father of Harry L. Nesbitt, Hayward; grandfather of Tom Nesbitt Gerberg, Costa Mesa; Karen D. Nesbitt and Gary Bruce Nesbitt, both of Hayward; brother of Mrs. Pearl Shook and Jess Nesbitt, both of Stockton, and George E. Nesbitt, Long Beach.

Rev. J.T. Evans of the Stewardship Baptist Church of Hayward will officiate at the 11 a.m. services from Sorensen Bros. Chapel, 1140 B St., Hayward. Inurnment will be at the Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward.
