help finding lander family

Hello All,
I am really stuck. I am searching to find out who married
Margaret Elizabeth Arnold (born Iowa about 1857). I know the gentleman's last name was Lander. I believe they were married around 1889. I am not sure if they were married in Iowa or California. From census records of their child I know he was born in Illinois.

Margaret and ?? had a daughter named Ruth Lander, she was born in California about 1893. I can not find Margaret, Ruth or her husband in the 1900 census.
The first time I can find the Margaret and Ruth is in 1910 census, they are living in Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, California. Margaret is widowed.
In 1920 Margaret and Ruth are living in San Jose, Santa Clara County, California. Ruth's occupation Teacher.
In 1930 Margaret and Ruth are living in Berkly, Almeda County, California.
Ruth's occupation is a teacher.

I have no clue when Margaret Elizabeth or Ruth die, or where they are buried.
I do not think Ruth ever married so there would be no children, Margaret did have a sister and her family living in Almeda County, Florence Lee Wier (1859 - 1930) she was married to a James Green Wier.(1848 - 1915)

Any help, suggestions anyone could offer me on how to find out what the first name of her husband was or where they might be buried would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much,
Take care
denise Robinson
