this is the Oakland Library, they do obit lookups for $2.00 each. They are the ones who have most if not all, of the archives from local newspapers. the newspapers only keep an archive of 5 days. so whatever you need, the oakland library is your best source. Berkeley is next door to Oakland. I beleive the Chronicle and Examiner were around during those times.
