They are the ones who have most if not all, of the archives from local newspapers. the newspapers only keep an archive of 5 days. so whatever you need, the oakland library is your best source. Berkeley is next door to Oakland. I beleive the Chronicle and Examiner were around during those times. good luck! Notify Administrator about this message?
