I am looking for anyone researching or connected to the following family.
I am especially interested in finding out what happened to my Great-grandmother, Olga (Mitchell) Alpenfels. She and my Great-grandfather divorced and HE gained custody of my grandfather. My understading is my Grandfather only saw his mother once after that.
Olga may have stayed in the Oakland, CA area after the divorce in 1924. I know she was still alive when my Gr-Grandfather died in 1947 and she was living outside of Oakland, CA; possibly in Alameda Co.
Any lead on how I might locate someone in the 1940s and later would be appreciated.
