Please help: My mother (now deceased) used to correspond with a MARY ANDERSON (died in 1950s) who lived on Seminary Drive in Oakland, Alameda County. I believe Mary is related to JOHAN WILHELM/JOHN ANDERSSON who was born in SWEDEN in 1852 and immigrated to MN in 1879. John had two brothers in MN (Carl Julius and Claes Axel). I don't know when he moved to CA but do know that some of his children lived in STOCKTON in 1940s (during WWII). Does any of this information sound familiar to anyone? Sure would appreciate some help as this surname is so common.
