Hi
I am writing from the UK and have previously posted a message on this forum hoping for some information on my great uncle Albert MARTIN who lived most of his life in Hayward Alameda Co.
It so happens that I shall be passing through Alameda in the middle of January en route to San francisco and a plane back to UK. I will not have much time but hope to at least find my g uncles grave at Mt Eden Cemetery in Hayward. I am also interested in his marriages - there were probably 3 but maybe even 4!! Is there a marriage index? and if so where might it be found? Otherwise how do you go about finding the information?
Where is the courthouse for Alameda Co?
Sorry for all the questions but for an English person the answers are by no means obvious !
