Just saw your posting about Elezer Byram, brother of Almon Barnard Byrum.I have them in my book "Byrams in America."
They are the sons of Jephthah III Byrum, b.1834 in OH.He is the son of Jephthah, Jr., Byram.Jephthah's family chose to change the spelling.Jephthah Jr., is the son of Jephthah Byram, who married his cousin Huldah Lovell (who was the son of Hannah Byram and Aziel Lovell)Hannah's father was Japhet Byram, b.1721 and was in the Rev War. Jephthah Byram married Susanna Washburn who' mother was Anna Alden of the Mayflower Aldens.Jephthah father was Ebenezer Byram, b.1692, who moved his family from Mass to NJ in 1744, built a church and opened the Blackhorse Inn in Mendham, NJ.That Inn is still operating.Ebenezer's father was Nicholas Byram, Jr., b.1640 in Weymouth, MA and married Mary Edson. His father was Nicholas Byram who was born in England in 1610 and came to America in the 1630's.
The township of Byram in Sussex Co., NJ was named for Jephthah Byram.
I would like to work with you as all I have on Eleazer Byrum, b.6 Aug 1834, Geauga Co., OH was that he married 1st Harriet M. Tucker and had Harriet Byrum in 1855.He then married in 1856, Jo Daviess Co., Il, to Mary E. Hopkins. He then married 3rd time 15 Sep 1886, Lafayette Co., WI, to Josehine Lawhorn.
I do not have about a son William? and on down or where he was burried.
