I know a lot about the Byrnes who settled MOnroe county NY..They could have had a son come to the city because they came to NY by way of South America from Belfast, Ireland around 1830. Brother Anthony (William Byrnes) is the president emeritus of Manhattan college here and he was one of 10 Byrnes children about that vintage. He was my father's uncle.. Brother Anthony died in 1915 at about 75 years. His brother Patrick started a church in Roschester NY.. Father Patrick Byrnes he died young in about 1875.
