amy,
greetings!!! Great to see someone respond!!! I have been to Graiguenamanagh with my father, mother, and sister. We went in 1984. We were looking for Bridget Burns. When we drove into Graiguenamanagh, the Byrnes name was EVERYWHERE!!!! the grocery was BYRNES, the pharamacy, the diner etc. We went into one of the stores to inquire about Bridget Burns(Byrnes). We were directed to Agnes Byrnes of Glenn(small, small town near Graiguenamanagh). Much of this is a little fuzzy, but i could look it up in our journal...but i believe her sons ran a small tavern in glenn...her sons looked alot like one of my brothers....very dark wavy to curly hair...agnes was a very friendly, accomodating woman. In fact, afew years after our visit, another of my sisters was in Ireland and went to visit Agnes and ended up staying with her for a few nights. I believe my dad and agnes talked out the geneology aspect of all this but i am alittle hazy on this right now...if you are interested in any of this, please email me and i will get you further info. St. Mullins and its cemetary were beautiful as was the country side...i would strongly encourage you to visit....please respond if you would like more info...

thanks,
sue baldwin groves
