Patrick O'Byrnes also spelled Byrnes and Burns came to the United States from Dublin, Ireland in 1847. He was accompanied with at least one son, John b. 1831 in Ireland and two unmarried brothers. John eventually married Elizabeth Mary Finn also from Ireland. Patrick and possibly both his brothers set up a tailor shop in Newark, NJ. Patrick went on to work for a railroad. John ended up in Iowa. This is all I know of this family and am searching for any other information about births, wifes, children and parents that you might have.
