James and Johanna Byrnes from County Limerick were the parents of Mary Byrnes ( born C 1845) who married Patrick O'Rourke at St Mary's Cathedral, Sydney, Australia, in 1869. Patrick was a miner when he married but listed his occupation as a grocer in 1878 when his daughter, Hanora was born at Surry Hills, Sydney. Any information would be gratefully received .
