Can anyone help with the following family?
LAURENCE THOMAS BYRNES - b. C1862 - place of birth unknown.
His parents were THOMAS & HELEN BYRNES.
Laurence married ELLEN EDITH COATES in Broken Hill, NSW, Australia on 07 Feb 1893.
They had six children:
1. THOMAS LAWRENCE BYRNES - b. 23 Dec 1893 in Jamestown, South Australia.
2. GEOFFREY PERCIVAL (GEORGE) BYRNES - b. 05 Dec 1894 in Jamestown, South Australia.
3. DOROTHY VERONICA JOSEPHINE BYRNES - b. 21 Jul 1897 in Norseman, Western Australia.
4. MYRTLE EILEEN MAUD BYRNES - b. 12 Jul 1899 in Glanville, South Australia.
5. LAWRENCE ETHELBERT BYRNES - b. 21 Mar 1902 In Coolgardie, Western Australia.
6. JOSEPHINE MAUD BYRNES - b. 29 Oct 1904 in Coolgardie, Western Australia.
I believe that ELLEN EDITH BYRNES (nee COATES) died when the children were young but I cannot find any record of her after she had her last child. It is possible that some of the children may have been in an orphanage in Western Australia for a time.
I think LAURENCE re-married but I have no details. Any help is most appreciated.
