I am researching Merritt family genealogy and would like to be in contact with any descendants or those with info for Edith Merritt (born October 27, 1888 in Iowa; died September 18, 1981 in Los Angeles County, Calif). She was the daughter of Fred D. Merritt and Ellen Whitney, both of Iowa. Edith Merritt married a Mr. Byrnes, and I don't know his first name. Edith's sister, Mabel Merritt, used Merritt genealogy to join D.A.R. in 1915 but I have been unable to trace the descendants of Edith Merritt Byrnes.
