Hi Betsy, I'm searching for more info on my gr, gr, grandfather, James O'Byrne from county Wicklow who went to NY around 1848, maybe we might have a connection. The name was changed in the states to Byrnes then just Burns. From what I know he settled in Brooklyn NY, I have more info regarding his son, please email me if you think we have any connection.
