New information. Looking for descendents of Mary Ellen Byrnes (often known as Minnie) and Joseph L Hoover. She orphan of Civil War, adopted by Jerome and Mary Watrous in Terre Haute, Illinois in about 1865. She worked at Oberlin College in Oberlin Kansas and married in Terre Haute, Illinois in 1892. One daughter born in Oberlin in 1893 and additional children unknown. Last known residence Colorado Springs in 1904.
