I'm a descendent of Patrick Byrnes. My father, Thomas F. Byrnes III, who died 4/6/1993 in Wichita, Ks. developed extensive records of his family. All those records are with my sister in Wichita. I do have a few charts and other odds and ends. This is what I know:

Patrick Byrnes (1811-1896) was married to Jane Lynch(1810-1890). Their son, Thomas F. Byrnes(1847-1932) was my great grandfather. He married Mary F. Mahoney (1854-1943).
They lived in Emporia, Kansas. He was a travelling shoe salesman. I have a short biography of him somewhere. He started a bank in Emporia and was a highly regarded member of the community. He had 8 children:
Elizabeth(1874-?)
Jane(1875-1877)
James(1877-5/26/81) (This was my grandfather)
Robert (1879-1969)
Thomas(1883-1957)
William (1885-1973)
Benjamin(1888-?)--I think he lived in San Francisco but don't see when he died.
John(1892-1970)

James Byrnes married Clare Bordenkircher (1880-1913). They had 5 children:
Mark K. (3/29/06-11/3/64)
Louise (9/25/09-12/17/65)
James(1/13/10 - 3/20/77)
Thomas(1/13/10 - 4/6/93)
Jane Cecil(4/24/13-5/21/13)

When Clare died, my grandfather married her sister, Betha Bordenkircher (1883-1972) and they had one child, Clare M. (11-21-19).

Thomsas F. Byrnes III married Mary P. Loftus (1-5-11 - present). They had 9 children:
David(7/19/37)
Judy(12/30/38)
Joyce(8/16/40)
Jeanne(10/3/44)
Jane(10/3/44)
Timothy(6/25/46)
Faith Ann(11/27/47)
Daniel(8/24/49)
Mary Clare (5/1/52) (that's me)

There are 26 children from my brothers and sisters and 11 grandchildren from this line so far--they've only just begun to reproduce!

Hope this is helpful. My dad spent about 20 years accummulating geneology info and his records are quite extensive. If you have other questions, I could get you in touch with my sister who has all his documents.
