I am trying to get the place and date of birth for my Great Grand Father James Byrne. He was most likely born in Ireland cira 1847. His parents were Patrick & Bridget Byrne.
He was a Publican/Merchant and had two pubs one in Clonskeagh, Dublin and one in Trinity Street in Dublin around the 1860s. He died in Clonskeagh 15/05/1885, Aged 36
He married Catherine Farrell in St. Andrews Church, Westland Row, Dublin on 21st September 1875.
They had four children:
Mary born c. 1876. She became a Nun - Mother Ephram in St. Louis Convent in Monaghan. She died 30/10/1967 aged 91
John Joseph born 18/09/1878 in Clonskeagh, Dublin, he was a Barrister at Law and Merchant & TD and lived on Talbot Street and Howth Road, in Dublin. He died in 19/07/1942, aged 64. He married Bridget Ormonde on 18/09/1903 Pro Cathedral, Marlborough St., Dublin
James Thomas born 11/09/1880. He lived in Farview in Dublin and died 29/01/1960 aged 79. Last address 38, Croydon Green, Fairview, Dublin
Patrick J, born circa 1883, he had a business in Drury Street, Dublin. He was married to Margaret. He died in Glenageary, Dublin 10/03/1940, aged 56
Catherine remarried John Brophy on 30/01/1884.
