Rosemary Byrne, nee Elkmann, age 76, of Wilmette, beloved wife for 52 years of Thomas J.; loving mother of Michael (Laurie), John (Peggy), Thomas, M.D. (Maryann) and Robert (Sandee); devoted grandmother of Connor, Riley and Kelsey, Maggie, Dan and Amy, Kathryn, Meghan, Sean and Claire and Shannon; dear sister of Peg, John, Greta and the late Karl, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Rosemary's life will be held Tuesday from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Blvd. at Old Orchard Rd., Skokie. Funeral Mass Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. at Saint Francis Xavier Church, 9th St. and Linden Ave., Wilmette. Interment private.
