I am trying to find out the family history for my mother who is now deceased. Her mother Winnifred Shinners was dating a musician who was called "The Gammell". She ended up pregnant with my uncle who was born in 1929. Rumor has it that she started dating his best friend, named Mulqueen and that he may be her father. She was raised thinking that the person who was Anthony's father was also her father but she did not know or meet either of them. She was raised in a convent over there and tried desperately to find out more of her family history in 1989. She went and visited a neighbor of the Byrnes family to get more information. It was Brigid Keanes, she was 75 at the time and gave her a bunch of information that she said she wrote down although it was not with her journal.
I only want to find out the family history so please let me know if you know anything about my mother's father.
