According to a lawsuit filed Lydia had born 10 children, 7 of whom were living in 1827, but these are the only ones we have found to date.... I feel like the rest were probably females, and that is why we can't find them.
The onlyreason we know aboutMissouri is from a lawsuit she filed against her brother,William Bryant Barlow over a dispute in the will of their father, John Barlow, (this will must have burned in a court house fire or perhapsduring the Civil War, as onehas notbeen foundto date) and in which she named Henry as her brother.
It stated she was living inAlabama ..and that she was married to Southall Myrick ...and then anotherlawsuitfiled after1840by someMyrick personsstates that at that time, Missouri was deceased....No other records have ever been found for Missouri or for Southall Myrick.John Barlow and Lydia Bryant had the following children:
