Hello Joyce,
My 3rd great grandmother was Clarissa Byram McBride, b.abt 1802 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina. She married Henry McBride. They married 26 Nov 1818 in Mecklenburg County, NC. By 1830 they are living in Coweta County, Georgia, and she isprobably buried in Cedar Creek Cemetery, Coweta County, Georgia. In the 1810 US CENSUS, Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, Capt.Spratt's Company, there is a William Byram, next door to James Byram. William has 3 daughters in the 0-10 column. James has one daughter in the 0-10 column. James and William are in the 26-45 year old column. I do not know which James this is.However, Jane could be Clarissa's sister. I assume, James Byram, b. c 1756 was her father, but it could be this William Byram. Another researcher has placed Clarissa with 2 other sisters, Catherine, and Dicey Jane.Any information from any other researchers is appreciated.C. Emert
