What's My Line???
I have been trying to find out where my ancestors originated and have turned a dead end. Here is what I know...My grandfather was William Clarence Bynum b.1898 d.1950, of Blakely, GA(Early County). He had several brothers, who I believe were all originally from North Carolina. I also think that there are relatives in Cuthbert, GA,(maybe in the town of Shellman also in Randolph County) possibly a "Sugars" Bynum who might have acquired some land in a lottery following the Revolutionary War (1784?).
Does anyone have info on these Bynums who possibly migrated down from the Carolinas into Georgia? I would, in the end, very much like to know how they came to be in the United States and from where in Europe they originated.
Thanks in advance for your help.
