Thanks for the reply, Marie.

I think I did write Raleigh for an estate record sometime back but I may have asked them to look in Craven County since Fanny's will was there. However, some evidence seems to point to them living in Jones County. I know their son William did.

Anyway I have already emailed the archives asking for an estate record for Lewis between 1801 and 1810 in Jones County. It is usually two weeks or more before I know if they found one and then after I send what ever they say the cost is, another wait of a few weeks before I get it.

If I get anything I will post it here.
