Thanks for your reply. You have good suggestions but didn't found a will listed for Lewis around 1801 in Thompson's list of will when I found the one for Fanny. Others on this site say he disappeared from records about 1801.

I have it that Lewis and Fanny Foscue married Dec 29, 1798 so the Binam/Bynum children must have been about 7 and 6 when their mother died in 1806.
