There would have been guardian(s) appointed for the minor heirs, and a Guardian's report filed withe the court each year until the heirs either died, became of age or in the girl's case, married. It would show what the guardian spent on the child's welfare each year. I'd start looking for such documents about the time Lewis Bynum's will was probated.
What money Fanny left them would have been added to what the
guardians already had recieved for the support of the children.
These records are helpful in finding out when each heir became of age and recieved, in his own hands, the balance of his inheritance. Also to show who a girl married if she did so before coming of age.
