Hi Kate.
Thnaks for the reply. First, though, two corrections.( I hadn't looked at my notes thoroughly for quite a while so I reviewed them again after receiving your reply.
Mary was not the wife of John, she was apparently his oldest daughter, and she married John MacLean.
And I misread my notes in regards to John. There is no John Jr.(at least none of I know of in that particular line)John Bynon in the 1881 census was born in 1816 so he is the son of George Sr.and Jane Picken and brother to George, Edward Kent and Susanna. John was married on 22 Feb, 1845.
George Bynon(Jr.) died in 1853 at the age of 63 at Tryon,
PEI.
Susanna was born 13 Nov. 1814 in Plymouth Dock, GB as was John on 26 Dec. 1816 but Edward Kent Bynon was born in Charlottetown on Nov. 20, 1818. Susanna, Edward Kent and John were all baptized on 22 Jan.,1819 by Rev. Desbrisay at St. Paul's Church, Charlottetown.
I copied all of this stuff one evening at the PEI archives about 5 years ago. There's probably more there that I've missed.
Question - Could George Haley Bynon be married twice, to Rachel and later Jane Picken?
