Amos Fox Byington m. Nancy Freeny but he is actually her second husband. Born Nancy Myrick, she m. Robert Freeny who died 1813 Wilkinson Co,GA. There were possibly two children from this union, one being John Myrick Freeny. Of the Byington Children, Henry Kosciusko Byington was Capt. of Co. "D" 57th Reg Ga Vol.Inf. and was captured 4Jul1863 at Vicksburg. His brother Mirabeau Lamar Byington was a pvt. in the same Co. "D" .I have further info for full names and dates on the children, but especially Mary Elizabeth Byington, my gggrandmother, who m. John Eaton McMullen.
