I thought it near impossible but a lovely woman who had access ot North Guilford records has found my earlier generation. They are still a dead end connecting them to any names in Stacey's genealogy but here it is in case any of you are researching the same family:
Harmon A. + Abigail (Luddington) Byington.
Children:
Darlington Byington (born 1819), son of Abigail Luddington and Harmon Byington married Martha Benton, b. Feb. 10, 1818 married (no date)
Eliza Byington (born 1811), dau. of Abigail Luddington and Harmon Byington married David Benton married (no date)
Charles Byington, b. July 13, 1828, son of Abigail Luddington and Harmon Byington married Harriet Hotchkiss, dau of Ann Shelby Richards and Lyman Hotchkiss m. June 4, 1852
Jered Byington born 1822 (umarried, possibly or widowed with no children).
Possibly more as well.
I do not know Harmon's parents.. *possibly** Robert and Sarah? If you have any information please let me know!! :)
