Dear Mr. Byington,
Their were a Moses Boyington in Baldwin County which was in Milledegeville Georgia which put him being born in the seventeen hundreds.I am related to Amos Fox Byington in Wilkinson County, Georgia. My line is Judith Fowler m. Owen L. Bruce to Mildred Nancy Allen M. Herbert Fowler to Otis Gilmore allen M. Clifford Bragg to Nancy Jane Mcmullen M. Richard W. Allen to John Eaton Mcmullen M. Mary Elizabeth Byington to Amos Fox Byington M Nancy Myrick Freeny to John Lamar Byington who came from Branford Conn. He went to Columbia S.C. where two of his children were left as orphange there. I met a couple who said that the Byington came from Scotland and his father had gotten a letter from a firm saying he had heirs estate their in Scotland. I can't get back from John Lamar Byington but heard that he came from the Byington from Branford Conn.
