Looking for ancestors of John Byerly b. 25 May 1817 who married Amanda Hinton in Rockingham Co. VA 26 October 1840. Later went to Sullivan Co. TN, then Blount Co. briefly before moving to Lyon Co., KS where he died 31 Aug. 1893. Believed he had bros. Jacob and Joseph. Was John son of a Jacob Byerly who was in Botetourt Co. VA and was this Jacob the same one that was in Dauphin Co., PA in 1800? My Byerly information can be linked to from my Surname page on my web site at www.erols.com/lawrpaul.
