Detrick Byerly, 1700's, Philadelphia, PA

Detrick Byerly lived in the Kensington area of Philadelphia, PA in the 1700's. His son, John Birely (Byerly) was born there in 1792.

The family changed the spelling to "Birely". They lived in Philadelphia for at least 5 generations. Owned the Birely Shipyard which in later generations became the Birely/Cramp Shipyard and later the Cramp Shipyard. Birely family members worked there at least until the 1930's.

Does anyone have any information on thisline of the family?
