Thanks for the reply.

I have found the information that I was seeking. I just was accepted to Sons of Colonial Wars. As you know with DAR, you have to put together a lot of information. It took me a while. However, I did find everything I needed.

I have a copy of the book you mention. I believe that you can still buy it on the Internet at a used book web site.

I also come from the line of Francis Byerly. His son Francis who went to Iowa was my more immediate ancestor. I descend from the Byerly clan of Jones County, Iowa.
