George--I received this information from Doris Fountain's posting at .http://www.tennessee-connection.com/genealogy/byerley/byerley.htm
He was the son of Martin, grandson of Caspar Philip. Martin is said to have moved with his family to Amite Co. MS. I say 'said to have' because this is not my line, nor have I done the research. I'm merely collecting Byerlys & trying to link the various families.
