My Byerlay connection is Ida Byerlay (1874-1959), daughter of Thomas(1812-1898) and Elizabeth, and I think, sister to the Andrew(born 1862) mentioned in one of the previous postings. Ida married Harry Fisher and lived in Port Ryerse, Ontario. They are my great grandparents. I have more information on Thomas and Elizabeth's other children and am interested as well in their parents. All I have for both of them are their parent's names and birth/death dates.
