I appologize for the delay in answering the replies to my 19 March Query concerning the Byerly families. Just have not had time to check back to the site, and lost the address in the interim. In answer to all, no I do not descend from Andrew Byerly or any of his 3 wives. I have studied the family for quite some time, and have visited the grave sites of all 5 sons in western PA. Of course, 3 of those sons married 3 Harman sisters---daughters of Christian Harman and Christina Lenhart Harman DUMBALDT.

I have been at the Fairfield County OH cemetery where the Harman descendants are still in abundance, and where I was able to identify the gravestone of Christina Lenhart Harman Dumbald. [You may have seen my earlier offer of pictures of all stones, western MD and Fairfield Co, OH, but if not, please send me [off the "Genforum Exchange" at < Fetters@bright.net >] your US mail address. Could also send by e-mail attachment, if you have capability to receive?

Thanks to all for the replies, but none are to MY John Byerly, who was of Westmoreland County, PA, but not of the Andrew Byerly family. Glad to help anyone with my holdings, but have found the LeRoy Byerly papers at Carnegie Library in Pittsburgh to be most accurate.

Bob Fetters
