Thomas A. Byars was listed as head of household on 1880 Beat 1, Lee Co MS census, with wife and children from Joel to Mary, oldest two already married, youngest deceased. As yet it has not been determined when he died but apparently it was not in 1875.
Earlier in my search I was told he is buried at Camp Creek Cemetery but I do not have a transcription of any survey to confirm that.
Thomas Anderson's mother Elizaveth Reavis was born in SC, likely York Co.
