I have been looking for Byars on the 1850 Pickens Co, AL census, I think I found your Littleton Byars and wife Huldah, look here:

I've been searching for the parents of my Julia Ann Byars, b. March 23, 1853, Pickens County, Alabama. She married John B. Elmore, son of Bowman Elmore, of Pickens and after he died in 1885 she migrated to Greene Co, Arkansas.

Please let me know if your Littleton had a daughter named Julia Ann.
