Thanks for answering Ed’s post regarding the publication, Bridges to the Past. I missed his second post.
This is the information I have on Bushrod Doggett, son of Sarah Ann Doggett Byars Blackwell:
SARAH DOOGETT and a cousin, BENJAMIN DOGGETT, had a son, BUSHROD DOGGETT, out of wedlock, named for her father b. 1760/65, before she m. ca. 1765, William Byars. Bushrod d. July 25, 1829, Rutherford Co., NC (Butler Cemetery).
I have his wife listed as Susannah Davis but I do not have their children. I would be interested in you information on the children of Bushrod Doggett.
His great grandmother was Elizabeth Bushrod. I have information on the Bushrod family back to John Bushrod the progenitor of the Bushrod family in America (died 1590 in Dorset County, England). Please contact me if you are interested in the Bushrod family information. tblife@bigfoot.com
