I'm trying to piece together the family of Claiborn M. BYARS, born 1833, Smyth Co., VA; marr. Elizabeth A. WOLFE, ca. 1857, prob. Smyth Co., VA; died 1897 and buried Anderson Cemetery, Smyth Co., VA. Chn. - Mary Jane (COPENHAVER, BOHNA/BONNEY), John D., Claiborn M., Thomas A., Sophronia E. (FAULKNER), Walter M., and Sarah C. J. (STAMPER). I haven't been able to find info. on the chn., except Mary Jane, after Claiborn's death. He marr. (2) Hannah V. GRIMSTEAD, 1878, Washington Co., VA. Be glad to share info.
