I'm searching for ancestors of John BYARS.

John BYARS
Birth: 9 Dec 1819, Kentucky USA
Death: 11 Jan 1900
Burial: Artesia Cemetary, Cerritos, CA USA

There is a nice looking 4-5 foot high, four-sided pillar monument with John Byar's name on one side, and Annareta's on the other with dates for each. On the other two sides of the pillar... one side was blank. The other bore this passage of words:

"Not dead but asleep
Asleep in Jesus
That dear friend
on whom our happiness depends

Farewell Father and Mother Fairwell for a while.
We soon will meet you again on that other shore.
Where we will never take the parting hand anymore.
For we hope to meet you on the other shore."
